Meet the Authors

Uta Fox is the Records and Information Manager in the Records and Information Management Section of the Calgary Police Service. She holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Calgary and is a Certified Records Manager. She co-authored several ARMA International publications and sits on its Content Editorial Board. She is ARMA Canada’s Director of Canadian Content.

Christine Ardern, CRM, IGP, is a Past President and Fellow of ARMA International and Emmett Leahy  award winner. She has been involved in information management and archives planning, development  and implementation internationally. Christine taught at the University of Toronto’s iSchool Institute and  presented at ARMA seminars and workshops.

John Bolton, (CRM-Retired), has had over 26 years of RIM experience. His career included special librarianship, project management and 20 years with the Provincial Government of British Columbia working in the IM/IT field. He has spoken at numerous conferences and has published articles on records management, privacy, and standards.

Alexandra (Sandie) Bradley has been a records and information manager for 32 years.  Through her  chapter, regional and International roles within ARMA, she  been a mentor and teacher, researcher,  writer  and advocate for our profession.  She is a Certified Records Manager and was made a Fellow of  ARMA  International  (Number 47) in 2012.

Jim Coulson is Managing Director, Morae Legal, with over forty years’ experience, including founding two global RIM consulting firms and building Huron Consulting’s global RIM practice, as Managing Director. A Certified Records Manager, Jim is a Fellow of ARMA International and received the Emmett Leahy Award, considered the highest global award in the profession.

In practice for over 20 years, Stuart Rennie’s Vancouver-based boutique law practice specializes in  records management, privacy and freedom of  information, law reform, public policy and information  governance law. In 2015, Stuart was awarded the ARMA Canada Region Member Of The Year Award  and Distinguished Member Award.
